Parksites is a non-profit participating preschool with a bilingual program for 3 to 5 year olds.
Our mission is to teach the children to respect each other, develop a love for learning, become aware of the world around them, develop creativity, and to celebrate the individuality of each child that walks through our doors.
Parksites has been enriching the lives of preschoolers for over 50 years!

We strive to make this first school experience a positive one for both parents and children. We provide a safe and loving environment for the children to come to each day. We believe that the best way for children to learn is through play. This, and parent involvement, are the foundations for a child’s success. Our program is designed to meet the needs of the whole child. We plan our activities to enhance their social, emotional, intellectual, creative and physical development.
We make learning fun by using games, science, crafts, stories, songs and gym to teach the children about their world. We focus on weekly themes to enrich the lives of the children. We have themes on the rain forest, outer space, safari, an imaginary train trip across Canada, dinosaurs, pajama day, and backwards day, just to name a few!

The Parksites children have the opportunity to learn another language through our bilingual program (French and English).
We also have access to a large kitchen for cooking activities. There is also a large green space outside.
We do some field trips during the school year.
We alternate each year visiting the apple farm and the pumpkin farm, we do a day of tobogganing and we have in-class visitors.
For the past many years, the children do a dance for their parents at the Christmas party.
In May, we have “special person tea party”. The children invite a special guest for tea and goodies.
Parksites reaches out each year and either does a Christmas basket for a needy family or participates in the “shoebox” campaign, which helps less fortunate children in other countries.
Parksites is located in
Pointe Claire, Quebec.
We rent a large, bright space in St. Columba by the Lake Church.
Address: 11 Rodney Avenue, Pointe-Claire, Quebec H9R 4L8, Canada
